Our Four Step gold flake Refining process

When we receive gold flake, we follow the four steps to ensure quality:

1. gold flake is weighted
2. gold flake is smelted in induction furnace, a gas blast furnace or by blowtorch
3. Materials such as a borax and soda ash are mixed into the gold flake to absorb impurities
4. A sample of the mixture is tested to determine the amount of precious metal contained in gold flake
