Our Four Step fine gold Refining process

When we receive fine gold, we follow the four steps to ensure quality:

1. fine gold is weighted
2. fine gold is smelted in induction furnace, a gas blast furnace or by blowtorch
3. Materials such as a borax and soda ash are mixed into the fine gold to absorb impurities
4. A sample of the mixture is tested to determine the amount of precious metal contained in fine gold
