Our Four Step 18kt gold Refining process

When we receive 18kt gold, we follow the four steps to ensure quality:

1. 18kt gold is weighted
2. 18kt gold is smelted in induction furnace, a gas blast furnace or by blowtorch
3. Materials such as a borax and soda ash are mixed into the 18kt gold to absorb impurities
4. A sample of the mixture is tested to determine the amount of precious metal contained in 18kt gold
